Fish Lake 2012

In July, we went to Fish Lake for the Robison family reunion. Like always, it was a ton of fun and nice to get away for a few days.

The kids loved the boat ride.

Kelli brought walkie-talkies and the kids definitely had fun playing with them.
Notice Mason's boots? We had to bribe him with rain boots to wear this summer because he was insisting on wearing his snow boots every day.

The kids made marshmallow guns for one of their activities

Morgan spent a lot of time playing in the cabin but she was really good the whole trip.

Some of the older boys caught a snake and Mason was immediately in love with it. At one point, Mason was holding the snake and was trying to feed it his ring pop. The poor snake.

Spring Garden

We wanted to try a garden this year. Our backyard is huge and has the perfect corner to be used for a garden. We got Uncle Corey and MaryAnn to help us, cuz we kinda didn't know what we were doing.

Brad rented a rototiller one day and got the plot ready.

Mason was right out there with the big boys working in the yard.

After the yard was ready we took a trip to buy seeds and fertilizer and stuff. We also had to get a lawn mower. Mason picked out the perfect one...Brad would have loved it but it was only about 8x more expensive than a regular old lawn mower :)

Easter

We had a good Easter morning. I worked the night before so I got home around 8:00 Easter morning. The kids played in the basement so the Easter bunny could come :)

Morgan was pretty intrigued with her basket.

Mason needed a little help to cheer up and take some pictures.

Grandma and Grandpa came over and brought the kids each a present. Morgan got a little tea set.

Mason got some Hotwheels.

The we went outside for the egg hunt. The Easter Bunny may have gone a little overboard on how many eggs he left :)

New Easter outfits for church.

It is pretty impossible to get a picture of both kids looking and smiling at the same time :)

Spring Break Visit

Over spring break we were lucky to have Dave, Leesa, Kelli, Dylan, Jacob, and Madi come visit us for the week. The kids had way too much fun and I think they were all exhausted by the end of the week.

We went to the museum that had Sue the T-rex exhibit in town.
The kids played in the discovery room and went through tunnels, played in an old cabin, and played some games on the computer.

We went to Leo's place one night and had pizza. All the kids got tokens and got to go on rides or play games.

We spent one morning at Bowl-ero for a couple rounds of bowling.

One day  we went to Reed's Dairy and watched the cows get milked and had some fresh ice cream.

Of course we spent some time at the park too. Jacob was nice to give Morgan a ride on the swing.

i jump

We went to ijump (a big indoor trampoline place) with the Doty's.
There were big foam pits you could jump into from the trampolines. There was even a little toddler area for the kids.
 A blurry action shot...

Soccer...take 2

Mason started soccer...for the second time. He wasn't able to finish the season out in Las Vegas before we moved and so as soon as spring came and soccer started here, we got him signed up. We have him in a program through the City of Idaho Falls and I think he is doing way better than he did last time around. It is a really low pressure, parent and child interaction type program so it works perfect for Mason.
Mason and Brad were racing their balls dribbling them down a row...Mason was doing it and doing really well until he was about 2 feet from the end and then coach cheered for him...Mason stopped right there and picked up his ball and walked away. This kid does not like to be recognized for anything...so as long as nobody talks directly to him, he does really well at soccer :)

9 Months!

This little peanut is now 9 months old! Where is the time going??
She is now 16 lbs (10th percentile) and 26 inches (5th percentile).
She is the happiest baby and loves to follow Mason everywhere he goes and she is especially fond of playing with all of his toys. She has been crawling for a couple months now and is speedy fast all over the house. She also pulls herself up and walks along things. She has let go and stood by herself for a second a couple of times.
She will eat anything and everything and tons of it!

1st Day of Pre-school

Today was Mason's first day of preschool. We were able to get him qualified to go to preschool through the school district...he will finish out the last 8 days of the school year and then start again in the fall.

He rarely smiles so good for pictures...but doesn't he look way to cute and way to old??

He started to get a little nervous after we got out of the car and he saw all the kids.
I think he cried for about 2 minutes after I left him.
When I picked him up, he wouldn't even look or talk to me for about 15 minutes...he was mad I left him, lol. Then he opened up and started telling me all about "Miss Jessica" and all the activities.
We love you Mason!

6 Months!

Little Morgan is 6 months already! Time is flying by. I took Morgan for her 6 month check up. She has grown a bit since her 4 month check up.
She gained 1 pound, so she is now 14 lbs, 1 ounce (10th%)
She is 24 inches (3rd%)
Morgan is getting pretty good at sitting up...
She loves to sit up and walk around in this little plaything...and everything goes in to her mouth, of course!
She is a big smiler and giggler, especially at Mason...but as soon as she sees the camera, she turns off the laughs and smiles and just stares at you. I've only been able to capture a couple of blurry smile pictures.
