Christmas Eve

One thing that we really wanted to take the kids to see while we were in Las Vegas was the Shark Reef. So on Christmas Eve, we got Leesa, Kelli, Dylan, Corey and MaryAnn to come with us.
Maddox was super excited!
All the kiddos ready to go

The kids had a blast looking at all the different fish.
Maddox got an up close look at the sharks.

The shark reef even had Santa Claus that we could take a picture with and the kids got candy canes.

After the shark reef, we went back to the Lyman's and Morgan helped make cookies for Santa Claus

Later that night, we headed over to the Fabbi's for our traditional Christmas Eve. It
is always so fun to see all the cousins. The kids had so much fun playing with all their cousins.

We listened to the Christmas story from the bible and then sang Christmas songs.

 Once there was a snowman
Maddox was the youngest so he got to open his present first.

Can you tell Morgan loved hers by that smile??
Grandma and Grandpa Fabbi know exactly what Mason loves.

After we got back to the Lyman's, the kids got to open a present.
They were Christmas jammies of course.
Putting out the cookies before bed!

Lyman family Nativity

While we were in Las Vegas, the Lyman grandkids acted out the nativity.
Mason was actually pretty cooperative this year and wore the shepherd's costume.
Morgan was an angel and she was just a little bit cooperative.

Maddox let Maddie carry him around like a good little baby Jesus.

An attempt at a group picture

Las Vegas Fun

While we were in Las Vegas, we got to see lots of family. One afternoon we took the kids to the Bellagio and Aria. We met Mona-Kay and her family and Dawn-Marie and her family. It is always so fun to see all the kids playing together.

Mason and Gavin are best buddies when they are together. They had so much fun riding the "train."

December

December was a busy month! We started out by going to Island Park to cut down a Christmas tree. It was our worst year ever. There was a lot of snow on the ground and the kids couldn't walk through it and we eventually came home without a tree.
We ended up using a fake tree this year.

Maddox was really excited when we got out the boxes of decorations.

Mason and Morgan both had a lot of fun decorating the tree.

The kids chose a gingerbread train this year instead of a house. We spent one Monday night putting it together and decorating it.
Morgan is the sneaky one and was trying to eat all the candy before we could use it.
Mason kept licking the frosting.

Maddox was just so mad that we wouldn't let him help eat the candy.
Our ward Christmas party was at a roller skating rink this year. It was fun to watch the kids try to skate.
