Maddox turns 1!

Maddox turned 1 on March 1st. It's crazy how fast this year went by.
Luckily for me, Maddox is my smallest baby and will happily snuggle with me anytime.

After Maddox woke up, he got to have whole milk in a sippy cup. He would take a little sip and then throw the cup. He wasn't sure what to think about it.
 Happy boy, crawling all over!
We just had my family over for pizza and cupcakes.

Maddox got a couple presents, but his favorite was definitely the balls.

He wasn't quite sure what to do with the cupcake at first...
But he soon realized that it was delicious!
On Sunday, we had Corey and MaryAnn and the Doty's over for dinner and we celebrated a little more.
Maddox knew what the cupcake was this time!

Maddox had his 1 year check up. He is growing and looking healthy!

He was 19 pounds (20th percentile, which is the biggest he has ever been)
and he was 23 inches (0.2 percentile)
This weight to height ratio makes him look like a little chubby baby!

Maddox is super happy most of the time.
He loves to crawl behind Mason and Morgan and try to play whatever they are playing.
He is a FAST crawler and pulls up on anything and everything He walks along furniture but is not brave enough to let go yet.
He is absolutely the baby of the family. Morgan and Mason both just love him to death.
Morgan loves to sneak Maddox bites of her food and Maddox will eat anything and everything except bananas. He makes the funniest face and spits them out.
I've tried to mix bananas with other food and he always finds the banana piece and spits it out.
Maddox is so good at wearing his hearing aids and not pulling them out.
He is starting to wave and blow kisses, shake his head no and nod yes.
He babbles a ton and loves to dance and lead the music.
We sure love our little Maddox boy and are so glad that he is part of our family!

February Fun

February was full of lots of fun. Once the sun came out, we sent Daddy out to shovel the driveway and the kids took their cars for their first rides outside.

Maddox got to be bundled up and snuggled while we watched the kids
One day Morgan got sent to time out in her room. When I told her that she could come out, this is what she looked like. She had taken off all her clothes and put on her fairy wings and tutu.

We played lots of dress up.
Maddox got a plate of spaghetti for the first time. He immediately picked up the plate and rubbed it on his head...He has not had the privilege of eating off a plate since :)
Mason celebrated Dr Suess' birthday at school. He made this super cool hat. He also got to take his favorite Dr Suess book to share with his class.

Snow Sculptures

One Saturday, we drove to Driggs for the Snow Festival. The Doty's came too.
They have a snow sculpture competition and we wanted to check out the sculptures.

It was absolutely insane to see the sculptures and how much detail they had on them.

Maddox stayed bundled up and was happy

They had a little playground made out of snow for the kids to play on.
There was also a car made out of snow.

After seeing all the sculptures, we went and got pizza. Then we went to the hot springs and went swimming. No pictures of that unfortunately, but all the kids loved the swimming. Maddox is a little fish!

Christmas in Idaho

When we got home from Las Vegas, Santa had presents waiting for the kids. They were so excited to see the cars and jumped right in. They drove them all over the living room.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's one night for Christmas with the Fabbi's.
Maddox was happy to just be held and snuggled.

The kids got spoiled with books, clothes and toys.

Christmas Day

Christmas morning started bright and early (much earlier than Grandma and Grandpa Lyman would have chosen). The kids were really excited to see their stockings on the couch.

Mason and Morgan got some books, snacks, and movies in their stockings.
Maddox's stocking was full of snacks!

Mason and Morgan got notes in their stockings from Santa Claus that told them that Santa left their presents at their home in Idaho.

Cuddles got a laser light that shines all over the floor. Maddox was happy to
try and catch the light with Cuddles.

Christmas afternoon we went to have dinner with the Kennedys.
Always so fun to see everyone and let the kids play.
