Valentine's Day

We had a really nice, low key Valentine's Day this year. I went to Mason's party at school where they made Valentine crafts, played Valentine bingo, ate huge sugar cookies, and passed out Valentines' to each other.

Mason picked out Lego Ninjago valentines that were sticker puzzles...pretty cool. We spent a few nights writing his name on a few Valentine's each night to get ready for his class party. He is getting better and better at writing.

I found little mailboxes for the kids and put a couple little treats in there. Brad and I also made little hearts for each of them where we wrote things that we love about each of them. On one heart, Brad wrote "I love you cause you're handsome like me." Well, when Brad read that one to Mason, his response was, "But you don't have any hair!" Silly kids, but we love them!

Little monkey

Morgan has turned in to quite the little monkey...she especially likes to climb and help herself to the iPads. She can navigate using it ridiculously well...

She also loves to climb up and jump onto the couches...she may have learned this from watching her big brother :)

January

Mason: "I want to be a nurse like you, mom. I already have the blue outfit."

Morgan getting tucked in to bed...one of her last nights with the pacifier. She actually did really well when we took it away, but for the next week or so we could follow her around the house and watch her find her binkies from all her hiding places...under the couch, behind the beds, etc. She has to sleep with her owl, a baby, and her pink blanky.
A picture of Mason that Brad texted to me at work one morning...Mason woke up and helped himself to my chocolate cake...
Morgan likes to sit on the potty

We bought a new snow shovel and Morgan wouldn't let go of it in the car

 A new winter coat

Morgan

We were able to go to Heidi's house one afternoon while we were in Las Vegas to have her take some pictures of Morgan so we could get a picture for Grandma and Grandpa Kennedy's wall of great grandchildren.
Morgan runs from the camera/phone whenever I try to take a picture so luckily for us, she liked Heidi with a camera a lot more than she likes me with a camera :)
Heidi was able to get a bunch of cute pictures of the little cheeseball!

And thanks to  Nicole and cousin Kennedy for the pink dress!

Trip to Las Vegas

A couple days after Christmas we drove down to Las Vegas for a few days. We crammed  lot of fun into a few short days...and sadly, l was not very good at taking pictures while we were there.
We stopped by Grandma and Grandpa Kennedy's house where Mason checked out Grandpa's old car...
We spent an evening at the Allred's where the little kiddos had way to much fun playing with each other
The cute boys and their legos
A trip to the Minute Clinic for an ear infection...
Playing the iPad at Grandma's house
While we were there, we were able to go to Teagan's baptism. We took pictures of all the grandkids in their Christmas outfits before the baptism so then Grandma kept the kids entertained with a game of Simon Says
A visit to Grandma and Grandpa Fabbi's house...the backyard is always so much fun

A breakfast play date with Zach and Abby
New Year's eve movie time with all the cousins
Morgan was perfectly happy in the car as long as she had her stuffed owl, pink blanket, baby doll, and sippy cup all on her lap...as soon as one fell, she was pretty mad until she had everything on her lap again...silly girl...but we survived the drive!

Christmas 2012

This year Santa when Santa came, he left everything in our basement. Mason usually wakes up around 5:30 and Morgan doesn't wake up until 7:30 and Santa knew that Mason wouldn't venture into the basement alone when he woke up early...
Mason came into our room and was so excited to see that Santa and the reindeer had eaten the cookies and carrots that he didn't even notice that he hadn't found any presents in the living room or by the tree...

Once Morgan woke up, we let the kids go down to the basement. Mason was really excited once he saw the presents and kept saying "I knew that Santa would come!"

Morgan got a little kitchen and Mason got a "police officer lego set with a cabin in the woods"

One of Morgan's presents was a baby doll. She was SO excited that she kept trying to pull it out of the box and was so upset that it took us a minute to get it out...when we finally got it out, she grabbed that baby and gave it the biggest hug and then started to feed it a bottle.

Mason also got a new bike!
