Christmas

Christmas morning started bright and early. Mason had no idea it was Christmas but he liked coming down the stairs to the tree lights on and a pile of presents! Between all of his grandparents, Mason definitely got more presents than any 1 year old could ask for. He is stocked up on new books, clothes, and of course, some new toys.

Santa got Mason a basketball hoop, but when Santa went to put it together on Christmas Eve, he realized it was the wrong one...Why does Wal-Mart close early on the one night of the year that we need it open after 8?? So, on the day after Christmas we looked everywhere for this basketball hoop and it was sold out everywhere. Thanks to Great-Grandpa Fabbi who had the exact basketball hoop we wanted in his attic, Mason finally got his hoop. I don't have any pictures of it yet but he will shoot baskets for a good 2 hours straight!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to Grandma and Grandpa Fabbi's house. We had our traditional dinner of salad and pizza, sang some Christmas songs, and then opened some presents!
Mason had a lot of fun chasing Grandma's dog, Teri, and trying to keep up with the big girls.

Mason got a cute shirt and sweater from his cousin

And a John Deere tractor from Grandma and Grandpa. He absolutely loves it.

Nativity X 2

The Lyman family got together to do their annual nativity. Mason was a shepherd again. He was a little less cooperative at this nativity because he knew there were toys to play with at this house.
Mason had some costume malfunctions and he looked more like Mary than a shepherd.

Nativity x 1

Every year, the Kennedy's get together and the kids perform a nativity and then Santa comes to visit. This year was really entertaining as the majority of the kids are between 1 and 2 years old and had their minds pretty set as to what they would do and not do.
Mason was a shepherd this year and he looked pretty darn cute.

After the nativity, there was a knock on the door...
Mason looked to see who it was with his cute little curious face...
Santa called out all the kid's names
Mason sat on his lap, but he wasn't quite sure what to think
So he chewed his finger the whole time.

Airplanes

Last Saturday, we went with some friends to watch the airplanes land. Mason and his friend were so cute watching the planes land. They would both grin and clap.
I think this is the perfect picture.
Sooo CUTE

Tree Hunting 2009

We went and picked out our Christmas tree! Mason fell asleep in the car on the way there but as soon as he saw the trees, he jumped right up and was ready to go.
He walked around the lot a few times, looking at all of the trees. He would get up real close and touch one branch and then run on to the next one.
I know his eyes are closed in this one, but I still love it. This is what he looked like the whole time, with his finger out and pointing to all the trees.

Ethel M Chocolate Factory

Ethel M Chocolate Factory always puts up a big display of lights for the holidays. We went with some friends to look at all of the lights. Mason loved them and every 3 seconds, he would point and go "Oooo, Ooooh." I don't know where he gets his cheesiness.
Santa was there, but Mason wouldn't sit on his lap.

Tree Shopping 2008

Well, we are getting ready to go pick out a CHRISTMAS tree this coming weekend, so I thought I would take a look at my pictures from last year.
Mason was not too impressed at all...
in fact, I don't think he liked being bundled up in so many layers
It didn't take him long to lose interest
He was so little and sweet. Now he is just a little MONSTER :)
This year, I don't think he will even let us hold him. He will be all over the place
and I think he will like to look at all the trees
