Christmas

Christmas Eve started out with Mason opening his new pajamas. After that, we went over to the Fabbi's for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner. Mason loves going to Papa's and he was thrilled to see some older cousins there to play with. We sang some Christmas songs and read the Christmas story. Then we let the kids open their presents.

Christmas morning was a lot of fun. Mason was excited to come downstairs and see his stocking. He was so excited for this blue motorcycle...I'm not sure if he remembers finding it in my closet a couple months ago :)
He also got a beloved Mater car. Look at that face of pure excitement in his eyes!
A potato head from Toy Story
Santa brought Mason a Mack truck, a Chick-Hicks truck, the King truck, and a Leak Less truck. All of Mason's favorites.
After we finished opening presents at our house, we went over to the Lyman's. Santa brought Grandma Lyman an air hockey table this year. So much fun for those little boys, and the big boys too!

Then Mason had a couple of presents from Grandma and Grandpa Lyman to open. Grandma Lyman got all of the kids matching Toy Story shirts and a ticket to see Disney on Ice!
After the Lyman's, we went over to the Kennedy's for yummy Christmas dinner. It's not Christmas without Grandma's ham and potatoes. Mason had fun with some more cousins over there. He is getting a little friendlier and will actually give hugs and kisses to the grandparents now. That's a big improvement for Mason, haha.
We had such a fun Christmas. It was so fun to see Mason get so excited and have so much fun with his new toys!

Grandma-Great's Christmas Party

Every year, Grandma-great has a Christmas party for the whole family. It is fun to get together with all of the cousins and watch the great-grandkids play together. Grandma always has a special visitor that brings a little surprise for the kids.

Mason stood back and watched Santa for a while
It took a little help from Daddy to get Mason close to Santa
But once Mason saw that Santa had a present for him, he got a little more friendly.
Santa knew Mason would love some cars!

All Aboard the Santa Train

Grandma and Grandpa Lyman treated us all to a ride on the Santa Train this year. There are so many little boys in the family and they were in heaven. The whole drive out to Boulder City, Mason kept saying "All aboard the Santa train!"

There were trains on display and Mason was captivated.
Here are some of the little boys waiting so patiently in line to board the train.
They had to inspect the tracks, of course

Sitting on the window on the train
Cute little boys!
I didn't get any pictures of him, but Santa walks through the train, car by car, and visits each bench and talks to the kids. Mason wasn't too excited by Santa, but he liked Mrs. Claus a little better. We had a lot of fun and will definitely be going back next year!
