Playing in the leaves

Mason has been waiting for so long for the leaves to fall. He would always look at Corey's tree and talk about when the leaves would fall. Then finally, the leaves fell! Mason was thrilled. He had a blast throwing them up in the air and running through them.

From Monday to Thursday

On October 1, we made the big move to Idaho. So far we have really enjoyed being here but we were in for a bit of a shock when we first got here. We got to Idaho late Saturday night. The weather was beautiful.

Mason spent Monday making "mud donuts" in grandma's yard. We were all wearing shorts and t shirts and sandals.

On Tuesday and Wednesday it was a little rainy and a little chilly. BUT on Thursday...the rain turned into snow! I couldn't believe it. Mason was thrilled though and kept asking if we could build Frosty the snowman.
Mason had a blast in Uncle Cory's backyard. He loved seeing his footprints in the snow and he just kept walking around outside singing "Frosty the snowman" to himself. It was pretty cute.

A few more soccer pictures...

I couldn't resist posting a few more pictures, just because I think Mason looks so cute in his uniform :)
Here are Mason and Zach during their team photo

Mason liked to have either mom or dad out there to kick the ball with him

I think snack time was his favorite time

Family Pictures

A couple of weeks ago, My brother-in-law, DREW, took family pictures for us. I am terrible about getting them done and with us moving to a new state, I wanted to make sure I got some done before we left. Drew is really good at making Mason cooperate, which is amazing because he a nightmare to take pictures of :) Here are a few of my favorites!

One little soccer player

We decided to sign Mason up for soccer this fall. We thought he needed to start doing an organized activity to help him get out all his energy. There is a Rugrat team for 2 and 3 year olds where they focus on learning the game and just interacting with other kids. They don't play real games against other teams. He was not excited at all when we bought his shin guards and was even less excited when he saw his uniform. We finally got him a little excited about soccer...until we got to the park.

He thought it was really fun to run around the park with his cousins. I was even able to capture a picture of them doing a cheer. It was pretty cute to watch since all of them doing it were 4 and under.

Then it was time for Mason's game....and once we got to the field and he saw all the people...this is what he looked like...
The he decided to lay on the ground in the middle of the field while his team played around him.
It was really cute to watch these little kids running around out there. At least Mason wasn't the only one that cried and had a really hard time the first week.

I think his favorite part was the water breaks.

The first week was a disaster and he cried almost the whole time. Each week after that he did a little bit better. We even got him to sit with his team for a team picture and that is quite an accomplishment for Mason.
