We had a pretty low key 4th of July this year. We started out with some fireworks the night before.

 Mason had a blast with the sparklers.

 Morgan preferred to stay snuggled up by her daddy instead of doing any fireworks.

 On the 4th, the Doty's invited us to dinner at the park. We had a spot right along the river and Mason was in heaven with the trees to climb on.

 Morgan was pretty happy to stay close to mom and dad.

 Maddox had a good time being outside. We even let him suck on a piece of watermelon but he wasn't too impressed with it.

 We stayed at the park to watch the fireworks show over the river. It was supposed to start at 10 but ended up getting postponed until after 11 because there were search and rescue crews out looking for someone in the river. Mason stayed awake the whole time we were waiting but then he fell asleep about 2 minutes after the fireworks started and slept through the whole 30 minute show.
