Mason turns 3!

Where has the time gone?? I can't believe that my little baby is 3 years old! He is super cute and definitely has his own little personality. He is turning into quite the little talker. He has a very good imagination and chatters away all day making up stories with his toys and cars. He is VERY stubborn...which is so much fun :)
He is such a good big brother and is always looking out for Morgan. He likes to show her off to his friends and other kids. He is also very concerned when she has any spit around her mouth and he has to wipe it off immediately. He likes to reach over and hold her hand when we are in the car and he likes to sing her "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Hello, Hello."
He has a very good sense of smell and is constantly asking, "Mom, what's that mell?" (He can't say the "s" sound). He also wont eat anything if he thinks it smells. He freaks out if we walk by something smelly...I'm pretty sure he inherited this wonderful trait from me :)
He is a miniature Brad in so many ways. He makes the same facial expressions and mimics just about everything Brad does.
He is now 31 lbs and 37 inches.

On Mason's birthday, we woke up and made pancakes for breakfast at Mason's request. Then he decided he didn't want pancakes so I made him some cinnamon toast and grapes. Then he got to a open a couple presents from us.

Later that morning we went to my cousin's sacrament meeting, since he was speaking before he leaves on a mission. We went to my aunt and uncle's house for a delicious lunch. Mason had a blast there. He chased around 3 little dogs and got to see some special animals from cousin Jason (That deserves it's own post:)) Mason came home from Kent and Sue's house with a giant pirate ship and all the pieces and he absolutely loves it. Definitely more than the presents we gave him, haha. We are so excited for Joe to go on a mission and know that he will have a great time and do a great job.

Later that day we went to the Lyman's for dinner. Aunt Kelli made Mason some cupcakes. He was excited about the cupcakes but wasn't thrilled with everyone singing and looking at him. We practically had to hold him in that chair, haha.
He wasn't too fond on the idea of blowing out candles either, even with Brad trying to do it with him.
Brad finally convinced him to "help" his pirate blow out the candles.
Enjoying some "lice cream" as Mason calls it.
