Christmas

We decided to go to Las Vegas for Christmas this year. Brad and I both worked on the 23rd, so Brad and the kids picked me up from the hospital and we left about 8:00 that night. The drive was pretty good, Morgan slept the whole time. Mason woke up about midnight and just chatted away for about 2 hours until we stopped in Cedar City. After a few hours of sleep, we got up and had a yummy breakfast at the Market Grill. We were planning on stopping in Logandale to visit Brad's grandma, but we got a phone call that she went in to the ER at the hospital in Mesquite. Luckily she was fine and we were able to stop and visit her in the hospital. We got to Las Vegas about 12:00 on Christmas Eve. We spent a few hours at the Lyman's and then went to the Fabbi's.
Kelli and Dylan were nice enough to let up sleep in Dylan's room. Kelli slept on the couch, which was lucky for us, since Mason woke up on Christmas morning and started wandering around the living room. I don't think he realized there were presents out, I think he was looking for Dylan. Thankfully, Kelli gave us a heads up that Mason was awake.
Here are the little cuties before present time.
 The stockings and Santa presents...
 Morgan and her stocking.

Mason had a lot of fun opening presents. He had been asking for robots since his birthday. I searched and searched and finally found these little remote controlled ones on Amazon. They were perfect.
Morgan got a new blanket, a book, an owl toy, and lots of new clothes

Mason's big present was a bike from Santa. He had been talking about one for so long and then I think he was a little unsure about it when he first saw it. it didn't take him too long to start cruising around on it.
Here he is again in his snowboots that he insisted on wearing in Las Vegas
After presents, we got the kids ready for church. Morgan was too tired to stay awake for pictures.

practically impossible to get a good picture of the two of them together...
After church all the grandkids came over for some more presents!
It was a little chaotic but all the kids had fun and got spoiled of course.

Grandma Lyman got a basketball arcade game from Santa. Everyone loved it, but I think maybe us adults had a little more fun on it than the kids :)

Later that night we went over to the Kennedy's for Christmas dinner. Again, it was so nice to see everyone and let the cousins play together

  1. I love the pictures of Mason shooting the basketball with his tongue hanging out. . . classic. Haha. We are so glad you guys were able to come. . . Dylan especially. :)
